Itinerary

Start your tour at the arranged meeting point: the magnificent 13th century castle of Androusa, located in the heart of Messinia, just a 20' drive from Kalamata and 10' from Ancient Messene. In that magnificent landscape discover the history, the tradition, and the mythical stories of the castle olive trees.
The olive grove is the next visit. Walk though the groves and marvel the perennial olive trees. Meet local families and join them to harvest the olive trees. Learn about the different varieties of olive trees in the area, and feel the olive harvesting experience.
