Kayaking On River Nerul In Goa

On this kayaking adventure paddle on the River Nerul and take a look at the mangrove forests of Goa. The expedition starts near Candolim in North Goa and gives an insight into the life around the rivers and backwaters of Goa in its natural habitats. The calm waters of the river and the stillness around you that is broken by the occasional chirping of a bird offer complete relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Nerul Bridge from where the kayaking expedition starts.

The instructor will give you a few basic tips on handling the kayak and tell you about the river currents and the flora and fauna that await you. Next get into your kayak and get comfortable with it before you move forward.

Then follow the instructor as you glide past mangrove forests and quaint villages. Take in the views of the marine life around you. You will soon reach the village of Saipem. As you keep paddling through the mangrove forests, you cross a prawn hatchery before you arrive at Nerul village. Turn back from here and return to the starting point.

Enjoy some light refreshments (beverage excluded) at a local restaurant after which you will be driven back to your hotel.
