Itinerary

Day 1: Almaty - Saty village - Kolsay Lakes

Stop At: Kolsai Lake, Saty Kazakhstan
We will start our trip from your hotel early in the morning. After 4-5 hours drive we will reach the Saty village. This is the closest village to both Kolsay & Kaindy lakes. After check-in to the local guest house, a little rest and a nice lunch we will move to Kolsay Lakes. Astonishing mountain lakes with pristine water admire any visitor. You will have free time to relax and enjoy this place. Kolsay lakes are the chain of 3 mountain lakes separated by coniferous forests and fast rivers. There is a beautiful mountain trail with amazing views which connects them. You may hike at least till the second Kolsay lake. Boat and horse riding activities available.

After a busy day you will enjoy a good dinner and nice evening with hospitable locals

Stop At: Charyn Canyon, Charyn National Park, Charyn River Kazakhstan
On the way to Kolsay lakes we will stop for few minutes at the view point of one picturesque part of the Charyn canyon called Black Canyon. You will observe fast Charyn river flowing in between high black stone walls of the canyon.

Day 2: Saty village - Kaindy Lake - Charyn Canyon - Almaty

Stop At: Lake Kaindy, Saty Kazakhstan
The next day will start with traditional breakfast and departure to the Kaindy lake. This is one of the most unique lakes in the world with ancient spruces that rise above the water surface. Formed as a result of the earthquake in 1911 this place became such a delightful phenomenon. The water in the lake changes its colors depending on the season. All of them are just amazing. From transparent light blue to rich emerald green.

After lunch we departure from the village.

Later on that day you will visit another unique natural sight of the Kazakhstan - Charyn Canyon and it's main part - Valley of Castles. Ancient canyon was formed around 12 million of years ago. It's stone sculptures and breathtaking views are incredible. You will have couple of hours to walk along the bottom of the canyon till the Charyn river. Or you can ride on a local safari jeep.

Then we continue our way to the city. By the evening you will already be at your place.
