Journey down to Gyeongju from Seoul by taking a ride on Korea's bullet train, KTX. After the 2 hour ride, explore into the past of Korean history, religion, and science. The 5-hour guided tour will amaze you as you discover the wonders of an old Buddhist temple, ancient tombs, and the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia. You will head back to Seoul in awe and understanding why the historic sites at Gyeongju were registered as UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.

Enjoy a ride from Seoul Station to SinGyeongju Station on Korea's bullet train, KTX. The ticket will be provided to you in advance. As you head down to Gyeongju for 2 hours, be mesmerized by Korea's beautiful sceneries as you look out through the window.

Upon arrival, meet with your guide and start off the 5-hour tour with some of UNESCO World Heritage sites. You will be driven to Bulguksa Temple, which is classified as Historic and Scenic Site No. 1 by the South Korean government and added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1995. The temple is famous for its architectural beauty. Then continue onto the Gyeongju Historic Area, where you can find many large and small tombs of kings and court officials, and various artifacts. Next, take a walk towards Cheomseongdae Observatory, the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia. Learn how Cheomseongdae Observatory was used in politics, science, and agriculture.
