Lagoa do Fogo Trail Full-Day Walking Tour with Lunch

Enjoy a scenic walk to Fogo Lake, one of the biggest and most beautiful lakes on Sâo Miguel Island. This lake is only reachable on foot.

Begin the day with pickup in central Ponta Delgada in a climate-controlled van. You will then head to Água D'Alto, where you will start the walking trail heading North. The trail is about 7 miles (11km) and medium difficulty.

You will be able to take in the incredible panoramic landscape at the lake level and even enjoy a swim. Have a picnic lunch once you reach the lake as well. After the walk, you will have a 30-minute stop at the Caloura shore so you can rest near the sea. You will return to your departure point in Ponta Delgada at the end of your tour.
