The Northern Black Hills Adventure

This is the only tour you'll experience in the Northern Black Hills that focuses on nature, and not gunfights. Spearfish Canyon is approximately 75 million years old, and during that time it's had every moment to get the beauty picture perfect.

We'll visit several quaint and stunning destinations. D.C. Booth Fish Hatchery, Roughlock Falls, Spearfish Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Pathways Spiritual Sanctuary and a scenic drive through Spearfish Canyon itself. Along the way, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch in a picturesque locations.

Stop At: Spearfish Canyon, Spearfish, SD

We'll set out on our journey and explore beautiful Spearfish Canyon.

Stop At: D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery, 423 Hatchery Cir, Spearfish, SD 57783-2643

All of the lakes in this area have been stocked by trout, and they came from Colorado! The grounds of this historic area are beautiful and include a replica of the train car that brought these buggers out here. It's a great little stop that most people miss, but you'll enjoy.

Stop At: Roughlock Falls State Nature Area, 10619 Roughlock Falls Rd On FDR 222 near Savoy, Lead, SD 57754-3783

We'll trek about a mile down a boardwalk to the crystal clear falls. Wildflowers and birds chirp along the way while the anticipation builds to see the famous waterfall.

Pass By: Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway, Alt Route 14, Spearfish, SD

This winding road takes us through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Northern Black Hills. Along the way we'll stop and have a picnic lunch.

My favorite place in the Northern Black Hills. This is a private property open to the public. Walking sticks are provided. The journey through the mile long pathway takes you past amazing sculptures, with inspiring quotes from historical figures. A green meadow rests in the middle of this property, with an Aspen grove on the lower side, and Ponderosa Pine on the other. Huge wind chimes resonate through your body along the way.

It's a reflective and healing place. Benches are provided at each point along with metal boxes containing journals to write your thoughts.
