Stop At: Marsaxlokk Bay, Marsaxlokk, Island of Malta Malta

First, we start off by visiting the picturesque village of Marsaxlokk, in the south-east of Malta. This is a very small village renowned for its fishing community. It offers peaceful walks and nice cafes along the water strip. If we go on a Sunday then we will be enjoying its typical markets with food and fish stalls, clothing wares and various other nick-nacks.

Stop At: Xarolla Windmill, 9 Saint Andrew's Road, Zurrieq, Island of Malta ZRQ 2411 Malta

After Marsaxlokk, we will be visiting Żurrieq, one of the oldest towns on the island. Here we will be visiting the Xarolla Windmill as well as a local bakery and we will be given a walkthrough of how renowned local Maltese bread is made. If you love bread then you surely cannot miss this!

Stop At: Blue Grotto (Il-Hnejja), Coast Rd Qrendi, Zurrieq, Island of Malta Malta

Żurrieq is also famous for the beach in Wied iż-Żurrieq and the Blue Grotto which will be our next stop. If you love the sea, then you will surely fall in love with the cool blue waters of Zurrieq. Here you will have the option to take a boat ride and have a closer look at the beauty of the Maltese coast. During summer, you can take a refreshing dip in the sea and lunch in one of the restaurants serving typical Mediterranean cuisine.

Stop At: Hagar Qim Temples, Hagar Qim Street, Qrendi, Island of Malta QRD 2501 Malta

Our last destination will be at the site of two of the most famous Megalithic Temples of Malta, Hagar Qim and Mnajdra in Qrendi dating 3600-3200 BC. These two temples are among the most ancient religious sites on Earth and are described by the World Heritage Sites committee as architectural masterpieces.
