We offer 2 tours:

Tour # 1.Tuk Tuk around Kochi 4 to 5 hours.

Overland drive in car/van to Fort Kochi. Board Tuk tuk to explore the comfort in this poor mans' taxi. Walk around the Fort Kochi to admire colonial Kochi and visit, Chinese Fishing Nets, Church of St. Francis. Board the tuk tuks again and go to Jewish Town. Walk around old Jewish city and visit synagogue and Dutch Palace. .

Tour # 2. Backwater ride in villages & explore life in a water taxi 7 hours.

Drive to Alleppey/ Kumarakom. Board the water taxi there. Cruise in the river for 3 hours. Return to Kochi.

From the ship we transfer you in an A/C Car/ Van to Foot Kochi. Tuk Tuks will be waiting for you for a ride in and around Fort Kochi also visits attraction like Chinese Fishing nets, Church of St. Francis, and Dutch Cemetery,

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Church of Saint Francis, Old Kochi, Kochi (Cochin) India

From the Chinese Fishing Nets tour walks ( 5 minutes ) to Church of St. Francis which house the first tomb of Vasco da Gama.

At Jewish Town the tour goes to this synagogue in Jewish street of Kochi.

Dutch Palace aka Mattancherry palace is visited after the Paradeshi Synagogue. The Dutch Place Museum houses the most beautiful Kerala Murals on the walls.

Tour Itinerary

Staff of Excel India Tours will meet you at the ship. You can see him holding the pager board with the name of lead traveler of your group. The staff will escort you to waiting Van /Car / Coach.

Then different tours start.

Tour # 1. Backwater & Houseboat Tour.

This tour is designed to introduce Kerala and its attractive backwaters to travelers.

In the morning the tour start with an overland drive from the Kochi harbor to Alleppey / Kumarakom Backwaters. ( 1 hour 45 minutes )

Tour reaches the Jetty of the houseboat.

Board a pre arranged houseboat and start the backwater cruise (3 hours.)

The houseboats are previous spices boats of Kerala innovated into houseboats for tourists with bedrooms kitchen and a spacious lobby. The kitchen of the houseboat under an enthusiastic Chef will cook for you our traditional food to your taste.

The cruising along the backwaters and palm fringed rice paddies and tiny villages will be an experience you will never have anywhere else.

After the cruise the tour will return to Kochi (drive is 1 hour 45 minutes.)
