This historic square houses important trophy-like remains of the Chilean gunboat Virgen de la Covadonga. In addition, it contains a beautiful colonial-style gazebo dating from 1924.

Visit the Majestic Castle of Chancay. Without a doubt, it is one of the most impressive attractions that you will visit during your full day. The construction of the castle began in 1922 on the initiative of Doña Consuelo Amat y Leòn, wife of the three-time mayor of Chancay. On the way you will be able to appreciate a diversity of European-style sculptures, impressive gardens, rooms that exhibit mummies and archaeological remains, etc. Finally, you will be able to appreciate and photograph the replicas of the wonders of the ancient world that this majestic castle houses.
