This tour is not an ordinary tour like the other tours you’ll find or buy on your ship with big groups of people all together with no local experience and no waiting in line in the sun to start your tour.
This tour is not just a tour to show you around, but you will be very personal with your guide and experience the local culture and history. In the meantime, that we will be driving, we will be also talking about the history of the Island, culture, Economic and food.

You will be able to customize this tour as you want.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Bonaire Cruise Port, 4PWF+Q3P, Kralendijk, Caribbean Netherlands

Here we will start our tours when you arrive by cruise ship. We will meet 15 minutes prior to your tour departure time to make sure we start our tours on time. When you exit your ship, please walk to the security gate (there will be only one security gate) look straight ahead where you will see a sign saying INTERNET BOOKING. We will be standing there with your name on a paper. If you are from a Hotel or Apartment, we will pick you up at your apartment or in the lobby at your hotel.

Pass By: Kralendijk, Kralendijk, Bonaire

We will give you a city/town tour through downtown Kaya Grandi. Kaya Grandi is the Main Street where all the shops/ restaurant and ice cream shop are in Kralendijk. After the tour you can feel free to be dropped off in Kralendijk where you will be able to do some shopping and walk around. If you are from the ship, Kralendijk is only 5 or 1 min walk away from your ship where the cruise ship ports are.

This is where we have the boats coming in for shelter when we have big waves coming toward the Island

Pass By: Trans World Radio Bonaire (TWR), 64 Kaya Gob. N. Debrot, Kralendijk, Caribbean Netherlands

Pass By: Hato, Kralendijk, Caribbean Netherlands

We will be driving through a neighborhood called Hato where most of the hotels are situated.

Here you will see the richest part of the Island and your tour guide will share with you why the rich people are coming to Bonaire.

Stop At: 1000 Steps, Queen's Highway Bonaire

Here you will be able to get off the vehicle and walk around and take some pictures of the beautiful scenery of the clear blue ocean. If you don't want to walk all the way down to the beach because of the Steps, that is no problem, you can stay at the top and enjoy the beautiful view .

From a distance you will see the beautiful scenery from where the water level was thousands of years ago and also see one of the best diving spots on the island.

Here we will share about the history from when the slaves were living on Bonaire and you will see the building where the women and the children was staying during the week while the man continue going to the south side of the Island for work.

Your tour guide will be sharing and showing you some of our oil tanks and the reason why we have them here on Bonaire.

Stop At: Pekelmeer Flamingo Sanctuary, Bonaire

Here you will see the beautiful scenery of the flamingo in the background and the tallest hill on the island called Brandaris, here you will not get out of the car since it is a reserve area for the flamingoes and we are not allowed to let our guests out of the car but you will be able to take picture of the Flamingoes while your tour guide is driving. Depending on the day, you will see the flamingoes very close up and sometimes they are a bit far away.

Stop At: Rincon, Caribbean Netherlands

Rincon is the oldest town on the Island where everything started many years ago. You will still see the oldest buildings on the island together with the nice scenery why Rincon was chosen many years ago when Bonaire was discovered.

Pass By: Bonaire Landsailing Adventures, Kaminda Sabana Piedra Krus, Kralendijk, Caribbean Netherlands

Here you will see the splashing waves hitting the cliffs on the coastline with sometimes a lot of donkeys walking around until we reach downtown. We will be also passing right next to Bonaire Land sailing where you can see people sailing on land.

Here you will see our pink airport and we will share about tourism and flight arriving and departing from Bonaire.

Pass By: Te Amo Beach, 4PMC+V43, Kralendijk, Caribbean Netherlands

Here is one of our nice beaches called Te Amo Beach meaning, I Love You Beach.

Pass By: Donkey Beach, EEG Boulevard, Kralendijk, Caribbean Netherlands

This is a nice beach where locals spend their times together on holidays and is also good for snorkeling and diving.

Pass By: Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire, 44 Punt Vierkant, Kralendijk, Caribbean Netherlands

This is a new resort with a very nice pool. This resort has a pool where you can sit and order your food from within the pool.

Stop At: Salt Pier, EEG Boulevard, Kralendijk Bonaire

We will be making a stop at the pink water and the salt mountains so you can walk around and take some pictures. This is the most beautiful stop on the Island because on your right-hand side you will see the 2 blue colors of the ocean and at your left-hand side you will see the pink water with the white foam on the ground coming out from the saltwater.

Stop At: Slave Huts at Orange Pan, EEG Boulevard, Kralendijk Bonaire

At White Pan, here you will see the Slaves Huts where you will be able to experience how the slaves were working on the Island and also where they were sleeping during the week. We'll be taking sometimes talking about the corals. This is the last stop and from here we will drive you back to the ship. This is a great time to still ask questions you may have to your tour guide.

Please NOTE: We will have everyone from the cruise ship back to the cruise ship terminal 1 hour before the departure time of the ship.
