One of the most beautiful views of the Salvadoran coast is offered by the Conchagua Volcano, from which you can see the islands of the Gulf of Fonseca (Meanguera, Meanguerita, Amapala, among others) as well as the city of La Union, and various beaches .

The Conchagua Volcano is located in the department of La Unión, in the municipality of Conchagua approximately 190 km from San Salvador, with a height of 1,242 msnm, forming part of the landscapes of the Salvadoran coast.

Itinerary

Day 1: San Salvador - Conchagua volcano

Stop At: Mirador Espiritu de la Montana, La Union El Salvador
we will camp in this places, Mirador espíritu de la montaña is located in the top of Conchagua volcano. from this place you can see the best view of Gulf of fonseca. from San Salvador we will drive 4 hours to go over there. Entrances is included.
Duration: 10 hours

Stop At: Volcan de Conchagua, La Union El Salvador
this volcano is part of the Gulf of Fonseca , while we climb in the 4WD we are going to practice birding and enjoying its nature
Duration: 4 hours

Meals included:
• Dinner: This is a traditional dish in El Salvador, could be Pupusas or chicken

Day 2: Conchagua volcano - Alegria lake - San Salvador

Stop At: Lake of Alegria, Cerro Tecapa, Alegria 3402 El Salvador
this is an emerald green crater lagoon, its recognized for its particular beauty of sulphurous waters
