Machu Picchu in one day

This one-day tour to Machu Picchu is ideal for those who have little time, but do not want to miss one of the most magical places on the planet. We will arrive to Aguas calientes from Cusco, in a train that passes through unique places. Once in the Inca citadel, the guide will show us the area and we will have time to enjoy the archaeological park of Machu Picchu and after we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo.

Stop At: Cusco, Peru

The guide will pick you up at your accommodation in Cusco at 4:00 am and we will take the minibus that will bring us to Ollantaytambo´s train station. From there we will take the train to Aguas Calientes at 6:10 am. The trip lasts an hour and a half and along the way we will pass along spectacular landscapes with views of the snowy mountains, the Vilcanota river, the semi tropical zone, and the high jungle area.

Stop At: Machu Picchu, 08680, Peru

Once in Aguas Calientes, we will get into the bus that will take us to the archaeological park of Machu Picchu, where a professional guide will tell us the history and secrets of this fascinating place during a two hour guided tour. Afterwards, we will have free time until around 1 pm, when we will return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and board the train that will bring us back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival the minibus will pick us up at the station and take us back to the center of Cusco.
