Magnificent Olympic Mountain Tour

Olympic skiing, NO! But we will venture up that way, start at the Marshal Hotel, and disappear into the forests next to the ski slopes. We’ll hike around the eastern ridge to the open valley on the opposite side of Bjelašnica’s highest peak. Above the valley of Stirna lokva we’ll have a phenomenal view of Treskavica and Visočica Mountains and if it’s a clear blue-skied day one can see the mountains towering from the Montenegrin border.

Stop At: Igman, Sarajevo Bosnia and Herzegovina

There are currently three lifts operational on these mountains. Bjelasnica has the better infrastructure and most challenging slopes while Igman is a bit easier and also has a children's lift with soft hills to practice on. Bjelasnica has the steepest of all slopes – racing from almost 2,000 meters to the base at 1,200 meters. It's quite a rush – no lines, no waiting.
