The mosque Zitouna (Arabic: جامع الزيتونة), or mosque of the olive tree, is the main mosque of the medina of Tunis.

Attached to Malikism, it is the oldest and largest sanctuary in the capital of Tunisia. Built on an area of some 5,000 m2, the mosque has nine entrances and has 184 ancient columns mainly from the Carthage site.

Architecturally, the Dar Lasram, with an area of 2,250 m2, is an example of a traditional Tunisian house: on the ground floor the shop and the service house, upstairs the main house, on the upper level the guest house.
