Day 1: Santa Marta - El Mamey Cabaña
Stop At: Santa Marta, Santa Marta, Santa Marta Municipality, Magdalena Department
From Santa Marta leaving at 9:00 am in a 4x4 vehicle (Jeep) to the Mamey region (an hour and a half away), from the path of Machete, the ascent walk begins in search of the left footprint by the Tayronas, builders of Teyuna. Arrival at the farm, place prepared with hammocks for the night. You can take a refreshing dip and relax in natural wells or waterfalls around the cabin.

Day 2: Cabin I / Cabin Indigenous I

He gets up early to have breakfast and then start the walk to descend to the valley of the Buritaca River, finding some indigenous houses that make up a small town known as Mutanshi, Continue the walk for approximately 4 hours to the cabin where you will spend the night settled in hammocks with little beads.

Day 3: Cabin I / Indigenous Cabin I

The tour begins for approximately 4 and a half hours, taking breaks, through indigenous trails in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta Natural Park, passing through some sectors where there are trails left by the ancient inhabitants of the region, crossing the Buritaca river to reach the second indigenous cabin, where he will spend the night.

Day 4: Tour of the lost city / indigenous cabin 2

The day will begin by climbing a stone staircase of more than 1200 steps, to reach Teyuna the lost city of the Tayronas, sacred territory of the indigenous people knowing the archaeological sites and in general the work that the Tayronas performed. Day 5: Indigenous cabin / Camp I

Breakfast at 6:30 am taking the road at 7:30 am back, and enjoy lunch at the cabin near Mutanshi continuing the journey to camp I, where you will rest that night.
