You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the south-western outskirts of Delhi to visit the Chhatarpur Temples, the second largest temple complex in India.
The sprawling complex is spread over 60 acres and has 20 temples within its precincts. The main temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Katyayani, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple is made entirely of marble decorated with fine lattice work. The temples have been built in both North and South Indian styles of temple architecture.
After finishing your tour of the temples, board a tuk-tuk and ride through the streets of Chattarpur to Qutub Minar situated in the historical Mehrauli area of Delhi. The 240 feet high tower was built in 1193 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak after his victory over the last Hindu King of Delhi. A 23 feet high Iron Pillar stands on the grounds of the complex. It has remained rust free over the centuries. Also visit the beautiful remains of a mosque situated at the base of the Minar.
