Mountain biking in the forest

Cycling in the silence of a forest, surrounded by ancient trees and wildlife in the Acquerino Nature Reserve.
Between one ride and another, in a characteristic mountain refuge, you can taste traditional dishes and farm products, such as freshly made ricotta and pecorino "raw milk" from the Pistoia Apennines.

Pass By: Riserva Naturale Acquerino Cantagallo, Cantagallo Italy

Arriving at the Visitor Center of the Acquerino Nature Reserve we will make a brief illustration of the area, the route and the correct use of mountain bikes. Worn helmets we are ready to start the excursion on our MTB between paths and dirt roads, surrounded by ancient trees, and with a little luck we will be able to see the very rich local fauna that includes among other deer and roe deer. For lunch time we will arrive in an area of wide meadows and centuries-old beech trees, where we can eat packed or take advantage of the excellent traditional recipes of the adjacent farmhouse (own production of cheeses and ricotta). A little relaxation and then our excursion will end again at the Visitor Center.
