Sanjay Gandhi National Park is a significant wildlife reserve which impresses visitors with its diverse flora and fauna. It was formed in 1969 by merging different forest reserves with the Borivali National Park, which was 20.26 sq km in area. The geographical expanse of the national park thus formed was 104 sq km.

The Jogeshwari Caves are some of the earliest Buddhist cave temples sculptures located in the Mumbai suburb of Jogeshwari, India. The caves date back to 520 to 550 CE. These caves belongs to the last stage of the Mahayana Buddhist architecture, which was later taken over by the Hindus.
