Night Snorkeling - Observation of octopus and other species

Night Snorkeling is a unique experience because unlike Night Diving, it is not necessary to have a special certification or know how to swim.

We will take you safely to be able to appreciate species that have a lot of activity during the night, our main objective is to be able to find octopus and squid to enjoy the show that they give with their impressive camouflage, to find them we will have to work as a team and on the way we will find other species more of which we will also learn a lot.
Octopuses and squid are very beautiful and intelligent animals that you must come to appreciate alive in their natural habitat.

Itinerary

Have you ever been to the sea during the night?
This is a completely different adventure that you will remember all your life.
We will snorkel in a privileged area where octopus and squid hunt during the night and do not worry, we will be there only to observe nocturnal species.

We will walk from the shore to the water and move around an area no larger than two basketball courts, the maximum depth is 2.5 meters so it is quite safe.
Each person will have two flashlights. If you think you need a life jacket, we can provide you with one. I will have my camera ready all the time to take videos for you and I will send you all 24 hours after the experience.

We will spend at least an hour and a half or two on the water, depending on how you feel or if you need to take the ferry back to Playa del Carmen.
We will have to work as a team because octopuses are camouflage experts. We will always be a safe distance from the animals, we will explain how to move in the water even if you do not know how to swim and also how to communicate in the water, at no time will we encourage direct contact with any of the species.
