Northern Ethiopia Historic Route

The tour mainly covers the northern part. Because of its’ advantage being the center of an ancient civilization, the area is endowed with huge historical and archaeological monuments. The area is also home of four world heritage sites, including the only natural world heritage site of the country, the Simien Mountains National Park. Day 1: Addis Ababa

Visit the famous female skeleton of Lucy and other objects which reflects the country's history, culture and nature.

Stop At: Addis Mercato, Kenya St, Addis Ababa null Ethiopia
This is one of the largest open air market in Africa. Travelers will walk and explore the most interesting part of the market ad take pictures.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mount Entoto, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
This is the best spot for panoramic view over Addis Ababa. Travelers can climb up to the mountain or drive with car.

Day 2: Bahir Dar

Stop At: Lake Tana, Ground floor from Blue Nile Hotel, Bahir Dar 6000 Ethiopia
This is the largest lake in Ethiopia with 37 islands. There are around 22 ancient churches and monasteries on theses isolated islands. Travelers will visit some of this ancient holy places and birds and hippos on the lake.

Stop At: Blue Nile Falls, Amhara , Region Ethiopia
The beautiful fall located around 36 kms from Bahirdar city. Here visitors will walk through the village to the fall and admire the country side landscape and cross the famous Blue Nile river with a boat.
