Itinerary

Day 1: Nyungwe Canopy Walk and Kivu Lake Night Fishing

Stop At: Nyungwe National Park, Butare Rwanda
After registering at Uwinka Visitor Centre in Nyungwe, Nature walk as you descend down to the Canopy Walk, Canopy Walk (the main activity), Hike back to Uwinka Visitor Centre.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Lake Kivu, Kibuye Rwanda
After hotel check-in, we get ready for the night fishing experience with ABAGI Fishing Cooperative from 17h30 in the evening to come back approximately 21h30. This activity rather takes place in Rusizi, the South-West part of Rwanda.
Duration: 4 hours

• Dinner: Dinner (included in the tour price) in Rusizi, South-West, Rwanda

Day 2: Explore the traditional fish market and Boat trip to Nkombo island

Stop At: Lake Kivu, Kibuye Rwanda
Explore the traditional fish market, Kivu lake, South-West, Rwanda.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Lake Kivu, Kibuye Rwanda
Take a guided boat ride to Nkombo, an island in the southern part of Kivu lake with the population with its own culture, language and ways of living.
Duration: 3 hours
