Olive harvest in Tuscany

The only real family olive harvest in Tuscany! This activity will be the highlight of your trip.. lunch is provided as well as wine and good company!

OLIVE HARVEST
The olive harvest is a traditional, annual event.
Get involved in this family business at Podere Fornacelle and spend a day singing, chatting and enjoy the beautiful tuscan countryside.
The olives are picked by hand and let them fall into big nets placed under the trees and are then collected in crates.
Afterwards the olives are transported to a nearby oil mill for processing.
The oil obtained is of high quality and can be consumed right away.
Come and enjoy the unique colors and avors of fall!
During our full immersion in Italian tradition and olive harvest you will be in touch with the guide family, learning the history of olive oil and wine traditions in Tuscany.
