Day 1: Otún Basin Crossing

Stop At: Lake Otun, Via al Parque Nacional Los Nevados, Pereira Colombia
We begin ascent in the 4X4 vehicle from Pereira at 4:00 am, this day we visit the glacier of the snowy Santa Isabel (4,700 masl) and spend the night at the Campoalegre peasant inn in the Potosí sector

Day 2: Otún Basin Crossing

Stop At: Lake Otun, Via al Parque Nacional Los Nevados, Pereira Colombia
After having breakfast at the peasant inn, we begin the journey through the paramo area, arriving at the Laguna del Otún natural reservoir (3,950 meters above sea level) and continuing later to the forest path where we will spend the night

Day 3: Otún Basin Crossing

Stop At: Lake Otun, Via al Parque Nacional Los Nevados, Pereira Colombia
We continue the descent through the Otún river basin, leaving the paramo area and entering the Andean forest until we reach the La Pastora visitor center (2,500 meters above sea level), where we can visit the “Los Chorros” waterfalls and have a delicious lunch. continue our walk to the El Cedral sector, where the 4X4 vehicle awaits us to take us back to the city of Pereira
