Overnight Tour: Colca Canyon Including Horse Riding from Arequipa

Join this overnight tour which included round-trip transportation, an official bilingual guide, horse riding in the countryside traditional village of Yanque (Horses, guide, equipment) and an overnight in the Colca Valley in the selected hotel including breakfast.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arequipa - Chivay - Yanque Horse riding afternoon

Stop At: Plaza de Armas de Chivay, Chivay Peru
07:45 After a pick up from your hotel, start your journey to the Colca Valley, making stops along the road north in Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve and Salinas and Aguada Blanca Reserve.

You will also make a stop at Tocra Pampa, which has one of the highest spots in the Colca circuit and and an ideal viewpoint of the Andes. Appreciate a variety of flora and fauna in the area and a panoramic view of the slopes and terraces formed during the geological erosion of the canyon on the road.

Arrive in Chivay where you will have lunch (own expense), then continue on to our Hotel and check in to your hotel.

15:00: Start your 2 to 3-hours horse ride in the countryside of the town, cross to the bridge a continue on to right side in the valley, then we will appreciate the landscapes with their mountains and many Inca terraces if we look down there is the colca river and along the valley the different picturesque little towns. Then return to the Hotel then on your own you can visit the hot springs (own expense) Overnight at your hotel.

We visit this archaeological site if, there is access to get riding otherwise we can walk
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Yanque, Yanque, Colca Canyon, Arequipa Region
Yanque is Quiet beautifull village with nice local people and many options to see

Stop At: Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, Avenida Arequipa, Arequipa 04001 Peru

Day 2: Cross of Condor viewpoint - Colca Canyon - Villages - Arequipa

Stop At: Mirador Cruz del Condor, Cabanaconde Peru
06:00am: After breakfast, travel by bus about an hour to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor for a spectacular view of the flight of the Condors while observing the depth of the Colca Canyon, the deepest in the world. Spend approximately 2-hours here. You will also have the option to take a 1-hour hike (optional).

On the return, stop in the traditional villages of Pinchollo and Maca, then Chivay where you will stop for about 2-hours. There will be time for lunch (own expense), and finally return to the city of Arequipa, arriving at approximately 17:00
