Pablo Escobar tour (it is just history!)

It is just history, we do not glorify. Beyond visiting the iconic places in the life of the drug lord, we focus on discussing different points of view around the country and the problems related to drug trafficking. Our purpose is the understanding of such scourge and its impact in our country, and the process Medellín has gone through in order to become an innovative and safer city.  We do not glorify Pablo or see him as a hero, we simply seek to understand the political, social and economic context of that time.

From the place where  you are staying, we go to:
- The Cathedral (a former customized and luxury jail)
- The cemetery (where we will discuss on his family and the closest people)
- The memorial park (where we will talk a little about some versions and points of view around Pablo).
- The neighborhood (donated in the early 80´ prior to his political campaign)
- El Dorado soccer field

We visit the memorial square, formerly his residence, his residence, an icon for pablo escobar demolished by the government to build a memorial square, intending to rebuild the memory and preserve the history that caused lot of damage and many thousand of victims

Finally, a neighborhood donated by Pablo prior to running for congress, we will talk about the idiosyncrasy and culture of many young people who grew up without opportunities, who saw drugs as the only way to get ahead.
Apart from doing tours in Medellín, we strongly believe in education and change, and this is a space to go over many decades that left a bad legacy for Colombia, many people who somehow, were influenced by Pablo Escobar and of course, many victims.
