From the suggestive and charming historical centre of Bologna to the luxuriant countryside of the green hills. Riding a vintage vespa and, with a professional tour leader, you’ll discover an area rich of history, art and traditions along a route bordering badlands, enchanting countrylanes, stunning landscapes, green parks and monuments. In about 2 hours you’ll cross the historical city centre, reach the luxuriant Bolognese hills and discover the most suggestive and symbolic places.
The first stop is in the complex of San Michele in Bosco, the Bolognese Bellevue: from its churchyard the whole city can be seen. After a 20 minutes ride we’ll visit the Sabbiuno War Memorial, a place where whoever goes can catch all the tragedy of the Second World War and the craziness of the war in general. The last stop is the Sanctuary of San Luca, familiar landmark on the Bologna skyline and traditional place of worship for the presence of an image the Virgin of St. Luca.
