Paradise Valley Bike Tour

In 2013 we noticed that many dirt tracks were paved in the atlas maritime north of agadir it was a large government program to open up remote and isolate mountain valleys in 2014 we made a recce trip to outline a new road cycling itinerary in the area but it was not until spring 2015 thaa we did finalize the stages for a brand new tour

Today we cab say that we have spotted a true paradise for road bikers

To sum up a stunning area to ride in winter enough to make you forget the roads of southern Europe

we take our bikes and ride is full on a false flat before attacking the first climb of the day up to the pass at 1500m From the pass we start a superb descent between fields of almond terraces overlooking a small gorge on our left We continue the descent to the bottom of the river for another tough 2k climb that will take us to the beautiful village of Iguer From the village we cycle through beautiful forests of barbary thuya with long mountainside traverse As we reach the beautiful palm grove of assif we will begin the challenging climb of the day which well test our fitness a 14 Km road snaking up to the pas at the top of the climb our efforts will be well rewarded with a great view of the valley below after a well deserved break an easy ride will take us to our guest house for lunch
