Stop At: Peninsula Valdes, Puerto Madryn Argentina
The tour is organized depending of the calendar of fauna and the weather conditions
Visits the most important Natural Reserve of the Argentinian coast
First stop: Ameghino Visitors Center, in Peninsula Valdes
From this spot, we continue with the tour towards the only village at Península Valdes: Puerto Pirámides. This small port, is the only one from where the vessels are authorized to go on a whale watching from June to December.
Caleta Valdes is the next stop. Crossing the steppe, going through 80 km. on a gravel road, watching the endemic land fauna, such as guanacos, choiques and maras and about 90 min later we arrive to the most representative geographical feature in Peninsula Valdes: the inlet where there’s an important colony of elephants seals. The giants of the sea, rest on the pebble beach, saving energy, offering us an unique spectacle of animals and natural sorroundings.
Depending of the calendar of fauna and the weather conditions, we can go up to the north to Punta Norte.
