River Trekking in the Pericos Nature Reserve

The Pericos Nature Reserve is located in the middle of the tropical rainforest in the Pacific Vallecaucano, one of the regions with the greatest biodiversity in Colombia.

It has a wonderful ecological path that will take us to waterfalls and crystalline pools to swim, bathe or relax; and for the more daring, the Pericos creek offers deep wells and natural pools, ideal for high-altitude diving or simply enjoying its warm waters.

Pass By: Dagua, Valle del Cauca, Colombia

We will pass through the municipality of Dagua, located in the Western Cordillera of the Andes. This area is well known for producing the largest crops of pineapple, sugar cane, coffee, a variety of fruits, corn, banana, cocoa and beans.

Pass By: Lobo Guerrero, Dagua, Valle del Cauca, Colombia

This area joins two main highways that are the Pacific Vallecaucano road.

Stop At: La Fonda Paisa, Loboguerrero - Dagua, Dagua, Valle del Cauca, Colombia

Once we have started our trip to the Pericos River, we will make a stop on the road to enjoy an exquisite typical Colombian breakfast.

In this place, in addition to tasting delicious food, you will also be able to see birds and iguanas that are freely found in the trees. This area has a mountainous landscape that looks like a desert.
