You have the option to choose either a safari in an open vehicle (viewing animals from the back of an open vehicle) or a safari in a closed vehicle (Viewing animals from an enclosed vehicle). The tour can depart from either Johannesburg and surrounding areas, Sandton or Pretoria for the Pilanesberg National Park. You will be transported safely to the reserve and all points of interest along the way will be pointed out to you by your registered guide. View wild animals in their natural habitat. Where other operators decide to save on lunch, on this tour this will not be the case and a premium lunch with a breathtaking view at Bakubung Lodge will be served. Your guide will be registered and all vehicles will have the necessary permits.

On route to Pilanesberg Nature Reserve you will travel over the beautiful Hartebeestpoordam and view the magnificent Magaliesberg mountains. This is truly a breathtaking view.

Stop At: Pilanesberg National Park, Pilanesberg National Park, Moses Kotane Local Municipality, North-West Province

Pick up is at 06:00am from your hotel. Beautiful scenic areas await on the way to Pilanesberg. Your guide will guide you on the way past points of interest. If you chose the open vehicle safari option, when you arrive at Pilanesberg National Park you will switch vehicles onto an open vehicle. This is a modified pick up truck with seating on the back that makes it an amazing experience. It also provides great opportunities to take photos up close to animals that inhabit the park. After returning from your open safari with your guide, you will be taken to a beautiful bush lodge in the enclosed minibus that transported you originally. On the way you will be given some more opportunity at spotting animals and be informed of interesting facts by your guide. At the beautiful restaurant setting overlooking down into the Pilanesberg valley, you will enjoy a fantastic meal. You will depart the park at around 15:00 and be transported safely back to your hotel to be dropped off at around 18:00.
