Pompeii Wine Tasting

Tasting Pompeii Tour is a guided tour lasting about 20 minutes, inside a historical scenario, around the 4 hectares of property of Bosco de' Medici Winery, close to the Archeological Site of Pompeii. The tour includes the following stages:

1. The Experimental Vineyard: farm owned rows, grew in Piedirosso, Aglianico, Caprettone and Falanghina.

2. Historical Structures: a portion of the archeological site of Pompeii; an irrigation channel built by Bourbons, the ancient kings of Naples; and the ruins of a family villa fo'rom the 18th century, where we have started to produce wine in the cellar underneath, inside some terracotta amphorae underground

3. The wine cellar, equipped with stainless steel silos, wooden barrels and terracotta amphorae

4. Wine and Lunch Tasting

The Tasting Pompeii Tour Vesuvius, represents the basic level of the experience. The tour includes the following stages:

1. Experimental vineyard

2. Necropoli of 79 AD

3. Winemaking room

4. Refining room (Wooden barrels and amphorae)
