Portillo Inca Lagoon at The Andes Mountains and San Esteban Vineyard from Santiago

This tour will take you to the highest of the Andes by the international road to Argentina. The route gives a postcard view of the most imposing and beautiful mountains, including one of the most beautiful lagoons in the Andes mountains. The lagoon has an intense emerald green color and transparency that reflects the vastness of the surrounding mountains. It tells the sad story of a beautiful Inca princess who, when she died, her husband deposited the body of his beloved in the bed of the lagoon, turning the color of the waters to emerald green, like the eyes of the princess.

On this tour you will leave the Santiago City to immerse in the beautiful Valley of Aconcagua which is famous for they rich agriculture and history, you'll visit a local winery call In Situ to taste sample of high altitude wines as they call it because they are produced at the foothills of the Andes. You'll head to the top of the Andes above 3000 m through the international road Chile-Argentina, which has interesting landscapes as canyon, high mountains, rivers, fauna as condors that you can see in a lucky day. At the last part or the road you will get at the ''Cuesta Caracoles'' which has 30 sharp curves that make it one of the most interesting roads to photograph. Finally you will get at your destination at the marvelous Inca Lagoon that is possible to explore and lunch at the restaurant of Portillo Hotel.
