Book this 2-day Bangkok city tour and Ayutthaya tour to visit some of the most amazing destinations including Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), Pak Khlong Talat (Flower Market), Grand Palace, Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), The Chao Phraya River, Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun) and ancient city of Ayutthaya such as the ruins, Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, also Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon, Wat Lokayasutharam and more. On this 2-day tour you will explore the beauty and history of these famous sights with an expert guide.

Day 1: Your English Speaking guide will meet you at your Bangkok City hotel at 9 am. Start for the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit). You guide will then take you on a short walk to Chinatown. You will see there are many shops selling gold, garments, textiles, stationery, souvenirs, second-hand parts and equipment, electric goods, computer parts, antiques, imported musical instruments and local delicacies. 

Drive to Pak Khlong Talat (Flower Market). You will amaze by visiting the biggest wholesale and retail fresh flower market in Bangkok. The market has all kinds of popular flowers and flora-related items,

Visit to the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). The temple is popular among visitors and locals alike. There is no any specific day close Grand Palace. But if any Governmental meeting or conference is there, visiting Grand Palace will be closed for that day. In that case you will visit Marble Temple or Wat Saket.

Enjoy lunch before hopping on a long-tail boat along the Chao Phraya River where you will see the lifestyle of Thai people during an hour long ride. The Boat will drop you off at Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun). This temple it consists of a massive elongated Prang (Khmer Style Tower). Then cross the river to visit Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho).

Finally, it’s time to return. You will be dropped off you at your Bangkok City hotel at approximately 5pm.

Day 2: Your English speaking guide will pick you up from your Bangkok City hotel at 8 am. Depart toward the Ayutthaya Historical Park. This once glorious capital city, situated 80km from Bangkok was destroyed by the Burmese army in 1767 and is now a UNESCO world heritage site. A large number of stunning palaces and temples are still standing. 

The principal sights include the gigantic bronze statues of Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, also Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon.

Visit the scenic Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon and Wat Lokayasutharam.Wat Phra Sri Sanphet is the main temple complex left over from Ayuthaya’s golden age. Explore the ancient palace and Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit one of the largest bronze Buddha’s in Thailand.

At noon you will enjoy a tasty Thai lunch (included). Afterwards, visit the resplendent Wat Mahthat, one of the most imposing ancient Buddhist monasteries. It is one of Ayutthaya's most beautiful temples and a major tourist attraction. See the Bang Pa-In Palace, the former royal summer retreat of the 17th century kings of Ayutthaya. 

Walk the magnificent grounds of Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. Overlooking the waterways the many buildings are a curious mixture of early 20th century European styles that contrast with the Chinese and Thai pavilion. 

After the tour is complete you will be taken back to your hotel, returning at approximately 5 pm.
