Private 4-Night Jordan from Amman: Petra, Dead Sea, Wadi Rum

This five day tour gives you a great opportunity to see the highlights of Jordan. Start with a panoramic tour of Amman center, downtown with its Roman Theater, traditional markets, churches, mosques, and the new modern city. Proceed to Jerash one of the most complete and best preserved cities of the Roman Empire. Then roll down to the lowest point on earth the Dead Sea, its calm shining water glowing from its scorching sun known for the concentration of salt and minerals, which makes it a therapeutic as well as a unique swimming experience not to be missed. Carry through for a classic 2 hours visit of Wadi Rum in a 4x4 local Jeeps. The desert of Wadi Rum where Matt Damon movie the Martian was filmed. It is full of mountains and a reddish hue. Then head to visit Petra one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and one of Jordan’s most enchanting Archaeological sites. A city carved in stone more than 2000 years ago to dominate the trade routes of ancient Arabia.

Day 1: Amman Airport - Amman (D) 40 KM

Transfer from Queen Alia International Airport to the hotel in Amman. Dinner and overnight in Amman hotel.

Day 2: Amman Panoramic City Tour – Jerash – Dead Sea - Amman (B, D) 245 KM

Pick up from hotel in Amman. Panoramic tour of the city, known as Philadelphia: a panoramic tour of the city center, downtown with its Roman Theater, traditional markets, churches, mosques, and the new modern city. Departure to Jerash, one of the most complete and best preserved cities of the Roman Empire. Visit the streets, theaters, temples and other significant places.

Then, you'll  transfer to the Dead Sea. It is lowest point on earth and known for the Biblical story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, who were turned into salt. Free time at the Dead Sea Tourist Beach Rest house, for a short swim. Returning to Amman. Dinner and overnight in Amman hotel.

Day 3: Amman – Wadi Rum - Petra (B, D) 425 KM

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to visit Wadi Rum and spend two hours exploring in a 4x4 vehicle. Wadi Rum is a uniquely shaped massive mountain that rose amongst the rosy red sand of the desert with towering cliffs of various brownish, reddish, and golden colors. Departure to Petra. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Petra - Amman (B, D) 245 KM

After breakfast, visit Petra, which is one of the New7Wonders of the World. A city carved in stone more than 2,000 years ago. First, walk the Siq, a narrow path of 1.2 kilometers (0.8 miles), which is the main entrance to the city. At the end of the Siq, you;ll behold the Treasury, the most-photographed feature of Petra. Other monuments we will visit are the Theatre, the Byzantine Church, and the Royal Tombs. Return to hotel Amman. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Amman - Amman Airport (B) 40 KM

Breakfast and transfer to Amman International Airport to coincide with the departure flight.
