4.923077 from partner siteGuests are picked up at 8:15am at their hotel by the private vehicle. Guests are advised to wait in the lobby, be patient and be ready to go as soon as the vehicle arrives.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you require hotel pickup, then you must tell us the name of the hotel and preferably the street when you book. If guests do not inform us of the pickup location, we cannot pick you up.
Please be advised that Temples entrance tickets (passes) are NOT INCLUDED. Guests must buy their tickets before the tour, or else the vehicle will stop at the Angkor Enterprise ticket office on route so that guests can buy their ticket.
The first major stop of the tour is Angkor Thom complex. The guide will explain what guests are about to see; the history, the culture and the religions that were at play. Inside the great walls, guests explore the fascinating beauty of Bayon and the world-famous Ta Prohm (Tomb-Raider) Temple. The vehicle will transport the guests the short distances between the temples. This will take a few hours.
Next big stop, is our acclaimed restaurant Sala Russey at the side of Srah Srang lake, to allow guests to enjoy some tasty Cambodian dishes or Western favourites!
The last two stops are at the enormous and beautiful Angkor Wat, followed by a beautiful sunset view from the top of Phnom Bakheng.
The temples on this tour are among the biggest in the Angkor Complex.
Phnom Bakheng has a 300 person limit at the peak, so we limit the number of temples visited to ensure enough time at each marvelous stop!
Note: Good weather conditions and a beautiful sunset cannot be guaranteed. If the skies are significantly cloudy and particularly if it is raining, then climbing the mountain has little benefit and is actually dangerous. In this case, the guide is permitted to cancel the Phnom Bakeng section and replace it with a visit to the Elephant Terrace at Angkor Thom.
Once the sun has set (6:30pm) and guests legs have become sore, we head back to town. Guests are normally dropped off at their hotel around 7:00pm.
