Stop At: Ta Dumbong Kro Aung Statue, 314 Cnr National Route 5 & Street, Battambang 02000 Cambodia
We start with the long drive to Battambang city. When we first arrive in Battambang, we will have a short tour of the town including a brief stop at Lok Ta Dambong Kra Nhoung, a famous statue.

Stop At: Wat Banan Temple, Banan Hill, Battambang 02000 Cambodia
22 kilometers out of town, we arrive at Wat Banan, which sits at the top of a 400 meter high mountain. We ascend via a long stone stairway. Its construction was started by King Dharanindravarman II (1050–1066) and was completed in by the King Jayavarman VII (1181–1220). Nearby, we visit the "norry", the famous bamboo “train” which consists of a small bamboo platform covered with a mat and a few thin cushions to sit on. The "norry" tickets are USD5 per person.

Stop At: Phnom Sampeau, 57 Off NH, Battambang 02000 Cambodia
Phnom Sampov lies 12 kilometers from Battambang and is a 100 meter high mountain with an extensive temple complex. Visitors enjoy its stunning views and whilst there they the neighbouring Killing Caves, where Khmer Rouge soldiers pushed their victims to their deaths.

Stop At: Wat Ek Phnom, Battambang Cambodia
Wat Ek Phnom is an Angkorian temple located on the left side of the Sangkae River approximately 9 km north of the city. It is a Hindu temple built in the 11th century under the rule of king Suryavarman I. Although partly collapsed and looted it is famous for its well-carved lintels and pediments.
