Private Beijing Local Family Hot Pot Cooking Experience

Visit a local Beijing family to learn how to make home-made style hot pot plus two or more other traditional dishes with the family members and share the special meal and conversation with host family. You will visit a local food market to choose fresh vegetables, food and meats. Then you will practice to cook two dishes,then enjoy hot pot cooking funs!

Family hot pot food is a team party fun meal! Someone do cleaning, someone do cutting, someone prepares to smash garlic and dipping sauce.....then all people sit around the table enjoy delicious hot pot with everyone's efforts!

Your private  driver will meet you in your hotel lobby in the morning or afternoon based on your booking request. Prior to visiting the local family, your guide will show you around the local wet market nearby. You will choose your favorite fresh food and drinks. 

Hop pot is round shape with half spicy and half non-spicy, you will be easily find your flavor. 

Upon arrival to the local family home, you will start preparing your own hot pot meal plus 2 local dishes (Kung Pao Chicken and Sour Sweet Pork. or scrambled egg with tomato; Sautéd soy sauce cabbage or green bean pork ). Please advise if you have any food allergies or special food requests in advance.

After fried lesson, you will join in hot pot cooking, you may discuss with host or hostess which part job you'd like to do.

During this fun local family visit and cooking course, you also will have an opportunity to walk around the compound see local people's life.

At the end of the tour, say goodbye with the family, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
