Stop At: Jerico, Jerico, Antioquia Department

You’ll journey through some of the most beautiful Antioquia countryside filled with wonderful views in every direction towards one of the charming coffee culture towns in Colombia. Jerico is one of 17 heritage-listed towns scattered throughout Colombia, and with the completion of a new tunnel, this wonderful little town surrounded by lush mountains is now only a 1.5-hour drive from Medellín.

Next, it’s onto an outstanding coffee farm, where you will receive a full tour and explanation of how the whole process of growing the perfect coffee bean occurs. You’ll come to understand the complete process of planting, handpicking the ripest beans, de-pulping, washing, sorting into classifications, drying, roasting, and finally making the perfect brew. Of course, all this along with a few samples of the liquid black gold (coffee) as well.
