This cloud forest tour allows you to walk through a wild orchid collection and visiting a beautiful jungle waterfall. For the ornithologists in the bunch, Mindo cloud forest is a birdwatcher's paradise!

Or try canopy ziplining (sailing along one of 13 zip-lines over the beautiful canopy of the cloud forest), or perhaps visit a tiny chocolate factory where you will have a chance to follow cacao through the entire process, from its harvest to its becoming a delicious brownie or a cup of real hot cocoa.

Itinerary
In the morning we take a 2 hours scenery drive though the wertern range of the Andean mountains, on the way it is very unique to see how the vegetation changes as we go lower in elevation, once in Mindo we will take a cable car (known as tarabita by the locals) to enter The Mindo Nambillo Forest Reserve, here we will hike for 2 hours to learn from our guide about the importance and the biodiversity of this ecosystem called The Cloud Forest, with some luck we may view different species of birds such us: toucans, parrots, trogons, quetzals, etc. It is also posible to take a bath at the waterfalls, later your guide will suggets a place to eat in town, and then it is optional to visit the Chocolate factory or do one of the adventure activities like Ziplining or Tubing for an extra fee.
In the afternoon before heading back to Quito, we will have an stop at the Sachatamia Reverve to view over than 20 species of hummingbirds.
