If you have never fished before, or, have limited experience, spending time with our in-house multilingual fisherman "OddJob" will help. He’ll show you some amazing fishing techniques that really work here in Cyprus.
An added bonus is that you get to see and explore the picturesque Akamas National Park coastline. One of the few natural treasures that has been preserved in Cyprus. The government has put laws in place which prevents anybody from building along this beautiful peninsula.
Don't forget to bring your camera. We also offer underwater cameras to hire and when finished you get to keep the SD card.

Itinerary

Starting in the quaint fishing harbor of Latchi, your Captain will lead you onto the boat and run through the mornings schedule. All rods and equipment are setup prior to your arrival, you will be shown how to use the equipment and your Captain will give you some tips and insight on the best methods to catch fish in the local area. You will get to see all the unique bays, lagoons and landmarks along the famous Akamas National Park coastline. As this is a private trip, the choice is yours if you would like to spend the whole 3 hours fishing or you could anchor up and go for a short swim/snorkel somewhere along the coastline (i would definitely recommend the famous Blue Lagoon). Your fishing Captain, who we call "OddJob" has years of professional fishing experience and excellent knowledge of the local coastline. He is very easygoing, patient and lots of fun.
This trip would suit anybody who would like to learn the basics. Including how to professionally handle a rod. The correct ways to tie lines and hooks. And, we will also explain the diverse types of fish you can expect to find at different depths along our beautiful coastline.
