After about a 30-minute ride, you will arrive to the complex and then head over to one of the best locations that overlook all of the ruins for a great panoramic view of the landscape. There will be a rendezvous to observe the sunrise (weather permitting) in order to get a spectacular view of the "Lost City of the Incas".
You will then have a 2.5-hour guided tour around important places in Machu Picchu, with plenty of free time afterwards to explore on your own. If you have tickets to climb the amazing mountain of Huayna Picchu, your guide will direct you to where this hike begins as well as how to return to Aguas Calientes Town. The logistics are very easy because there is only one bus company that goes up and down every 10 or 15 minutes. Please note: the bus with take approximately 30 minutes to get to Aguas Calientes.
This small-group guided tour only allows for a maximum of 10 people and begins with pickup from either your Aguas Calientes hotel or the train station of Aguas Calientes.
