This private tour of Fátima will show you all about the sanctuary built after the holy apparitions of 1917 in Portugal and the life of the three shepherds. Departing from Lisbon, you will visit one of the most emblematic places for the Christian faith, Fátima, and its spectacular sanctuary, the new Basilica and the little old apparitions chapel.

Discover one of the largest Marian Shrines in the World!

All the Iteneraries and schedules that are described on this page are the standard ones for this tour. As this is a private tour and no one else will join your group, the tour is fully customizable according to your preferences. To change anything just inform us at the time of booking or talk to the driver in the day of the tour.

Your tour begins with a pick up at your hotel. This private tour is provided mainly with the objective of showing the Sanctuary of Fátima and surrounding areas, nevertheless, this itinerary can be changed to best suit your preferences.

After the pickup head directly to Fátima, an approximately 1-hour trip, where you will see the magnificence of both the old and the new sanctuaries where more than 250,000 people pray at the famous candle processions the nights before the commemorations of the main historical dates--May 13 and October 13.

First we will have time for some shopping, souvenirs and religious related items, that can then be blessed at the Sanctuary. Also, during the trip your driver will inform you of the schedule of the services in the sanctuary so you can plan the trip in order to assist some of them if you so wish. Upon arrival to Fátima you can then assist any service you may wish or visit the Fátima museum, to find out more about the history of the apparitions and the development of the sanctuary since 1917.

If time allows (depending on the time spent on the services and/or the sanctuary) we can still briefly visit the little village where the shepherds lived and other nearby pilgrimage sites.

After the visits tour returns to Lisbon.
