Itinerary

Your tour starts at 8am, and your professional guide will come to pick you up at your hotel in Beijing. It takes about 2 hours drive to Xizhazi Village which is near Jiankou Great Wall, a much less travelled and very photogenic section of the Wall. After an initial hike through the forest you will be treated with a panoramic view of the Wall. You will then find yourself in an exihilarating scramble up a steep, rocky hill to the famous Nine Eye Tower, followed by a gentle descent through the forest below. You will have lunch in a local restaurant carefully picked by your guide, followed by a drive back to your hotel in Beijing. The entire hike takes about 5 to 6 hours, and surely a very special Great Wall hike you can boast about for years.
