Private Kulen Full-Day Tour (by aircon Vehicles)

A Full-Day (up to 10 hours) tour of Phnom Kulen in one of our excellent private vehicles. Several types of vehicle are available from standard Honda CRV's and Lexus plus 15-Seater Mini-Busses to suit all group and wallet sizes.

All vehicles have air conditioning.

Complimentary cold towels and iced bottled water are available in the aircon vehicle.

Guests can bring a packed lunch, or eat at the basic food stalls nearby

An English-speaking guide may be booked as an optional extra via our office. If you need a guide, please remember he will need a seat in the vehicle.

Guests are picked up at 8:15am at their hotel by the aircon vehicle. Guests are advised to wait in the lobby, be patient and be ready to go as soon as the vehicle arrives.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you require hotel pickup, then you must tell us the name of the hotel and preferably the street when you book. If guests do not inform us of the pickup location, we cannot pick you up.

Phnom Kulen is located 50km from Siem Reap, and is considered a Holy Mountain in Cambodia and of special religious significance to Hindu and Buddhists.

The tour starts with a drive to the foot of the Kulen mountain, the birth place of the great Khmer Empire in AD 802. Then enjoy the breathtaking drive up the mountain and explore the abundant greenery and the Kulen Waterfall. Take a dip if you wish, or sit back and watch the local families relish in their sacred homeland.

Make your way up the mountain by foot to the River of a Thousand Lingas, a gorgeous river with sophisticated Shiva Linga carvings covering its floor. Get a blessing the Cambodian way with the Holy Water from this sacred river.

Continue up to the tip of the mountain to discover the beautiful Pagoda and its world-famous Reclining Buddha at rest.
