Itinerary

Stop At: Salkantay Travel Peru, av. Libertad Z 2 Ttio, Cusco 051 Peru

We will begin early in the morning, with the pickup at the hotel in Cusco. The vehicle will take us by Izcuchaca and Limatambo towns, towards Mollepata, where we will enter to the Salkantay road. In Mollepata, we will have breakfast in a restaurant, before boarding the vehicle again to go to the Soraypampa camp, at a 3,900 m altitude. From this place, we will begin a 1 and a half hours trek by a steep mountain hillside to reach the Humantay Lagoon, which is at 4,100 m a. s. l. Here, we will be able to see the colors' variation, depending on the perspective that gives us the point where we will be located, besides the glacier as background, which goes to the lagoon. After taking pictures and resting from a trek at that altitude, we will go back down to the camp to take the vehicle to Mollepata, where we will be having lunch in a local family restaurant. After that, we will take our vehicle to return to Cusco's historical downtown.
