Stop At: Higashichaya Old Town, 1 Higashiyama, Kanazawa 920-0831 Ishikawa Prefecture

Chaya is a traditional place of feasts and entertainment, where Japan’s famous geishas have been entertaining people through dances and playing traditional musical instruments since the Edo period. Higashiyama is the biggest chaya district in Kanazawa, and provides the opportunity for a glimpse into Japan’s rich cultural past. Very quiet in the night so Great location for photo shoot session.

Stop At: Kazuemachi Tea House Street, Kazuemachi, Kanazawa 920-0902 Ishikawa Prefecture

Kazuemachi is adjacent to Higashi chaya teahouse district. Another historical site with beautiful old traditional houses. Great photo shoot spot as it is very quiet here in the night. Say good-bye to your travel photos with a lot of tourist in the background.

Stop At: Mt. Utatsu, Wakamatsumachi, Kanazawa 920-1165 Ishikawa Prefecture

Surrounded by mountains to the east, and the ocean to the west, Kanazawa is a thriving city by day and night. A beautiful cityscape can be captured atop Utatsuyama mountain, although this spot offers the best views of Kanazawa at sunset, with stunning night views of the city lights.
