Krísuvík, also known as Krysuvik is situated on the Reykjanes peninsula. Krysuvik consists of several geothermal fields, such as Seltún. Here you can find mud pots and hot springs that have formed throughout the years with the soil colored in bright yellow, red and green hues.

The water is fed into the lagoon for recreational and medicinal bathing. The spa is located in a lava field near Grindavik on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwestern Iceland.
