As this is a private tour and no one else will join your group, the tour is fully customizable according to your preferences or schedule needs due to your cruise schedule. Your private shore excursion will begin with a pick up from Lisbon's cruise terminal. The objective of the day will be, depending on your choice, to show an overview of the city of Lisbon or of the national monuments In Sintra, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. As this is a private tour, you will have the freedom to rearrange your tour how you see fit. Below are the standard itineraries:

Lisbon Tour:

A comprehensive tour around the most historical areas like the downtown, the castle hill, the quarters of Alfama, Graça, Chiado and Belém. The history rich Lisbon will unveil before your eyes and you will be able to understand how the city has formed and how he different ages evolved and influenced the history of the city.

Sintra Tour:

Stopping first at the center of Sintra, you can enjoy free time to taste the traditional pastries at a local tea house. From here you will see the Village Palace, an 14th century palace, that has been transformed throughout the centuries and is now one of the most emblematic places of Sintra with it's characteristic chimneys. Visiting the Pena National Palace may also be an option, depending on the time you have and the time we arrive to Sintra. This can be discussed with your guide on the day. After visiting the center of Sintra and/or the palaces you will then pass by the Regaleira and Seteais palaces before heading over to the westernmost point of Europe and returning to Lisbon.
