You will be picked up from your hotel for a tour of Goa’s Portuguese style mansions.
Start your tour visiting Braganza House which was built in the 17th century. The artifacts collected by the family over a number of years, have added to the beauty of the house. Of note within the mansion are a great salon, a large ballroom with floor made of Italian marble, antique chandeliers from Europe and heavily carved rosewood furniture.
Next head to Palacio do Deao, a palatial mansion spread over 11,000 sq. ft. Observe the unusual style of architecture, which is an interesting blend of Hindu and Portuguese cultures. The Palacio do Deao was built in 1787, by a Portuguese nobleman.
Next enjoy a leisurely, traditional Indo-Portuguese lunch (beverage excluded) at the Belvedere, overlooking the Kushavati River.
After lunch, drive over to Chitra Museum located in the coastal village of Benaulim. See a large collection of over 4 000 artifacts focusing on Goa's traditional agrarian lifestyle.
At the end of the tour you will be driven back to Goa and dropped off at your hotel.
