One of the buildings that can be visited (from the outside) in the area of the Pompeii forum, the Granaries, currently house the largest archaeological collection in the ancient city. The former fruit and vegetable market is now home to a large collection of artifacts, 9000 objects including transport amphorae, table and kitchen ceramics, marble sculptures, plaster casts of particular charm that every day attract in front of the gates, hundreds of visitors.

The amphitheater was built around 70 BC. from. Gaio Quinzio Valgo and Marco Porcio and was used for circus games and fights between gladiators; these parades, sometimes advertised with graffiti on the facades of the houses, took place in grand form.

The Forum of Pompeii is a Roman forum, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 and found following the archaeological excavations of ancient Pompeii. The structure was the main square of the city and represented the political, economic and religious center where demonstrations, commercial negotiations and debates took place; it is, of its kind, one of the best preserved of the ancient Italic cities.

The Baths of the Forum, also called Terme della Fortuna, are a thermal complex of the Roman era, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 and found following the archaeological excavations of ancient Pompeii: they take their name from the proximity to the forum.

The Villa dei Misteri is a suburban villa from the Roman era located a few hundred meters outside the northern walls of the ancient city of Pompeii. Of a rustic-residential character, it was buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD; unearthed starting from 1909, the Villa dei Misteri is one of the most visited buildings of the Pompeii excavations, especially for the series of frescoes in the triclinium, depicting mystery rites, well preserved, from which the structure takes its name.

La casa del Fauno is a house from the Roman era, buried during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 and found following the archaeological excavations of ancient Pompeii: it is one of the largest houses in the city and owes its name to a statue in bronze, depicting a satyr, placed in the impluvium. It almost completely occupies Insula 12 of Regio VI.
